In the 1st half of 2024, Saudi Arabia was visited by a record number of local and foreign tourists - 60 million, who spent a total of 38.1 billion dollars.
Asir province is particularly popular with foreign visitors. It's not as hot here as in other parts of the country. The main attractions of the region are the village of Rijal Alma, the national park, the Shadda Palace Museum in Abha.
Saudi Arabia plans to receive 150 million local and international tourists annually by 20230.In 2023, this figure reached 109 million.
A significant part of those visiting Saudi Arabia are Hajj pilgrims.
