Slovenia has been launching a visa program for digital nomads since November 21, 2025.
The visa will allow foreigners to live in Slovenia and work as employees or contractors of foreign companies, as well as as self-employed. It is prohibited to work in local companies or provide services under this program.
The visa will be available for one year without the right to extend. However, six months after the expiration of one visa, it is allowed to apply for a new one.
Visa applicants must prove that they have a permanent income of about 3,200 euros per month.
Family members can move with the main applicant, but without the right to work in the country.In 2024, the most popular visa program for digital nomads was Spanish. Also in demand Portugal's digital nomad visa.
