Schengen countries are planning to issue a short-term visa for 15 days at the State borders. It is reported Lenta.ru with reference to the press secretary of the EU Delegation to Russia Soren Liborius. In addition, the planned introduction of the so-called "touring visa" for up to one year, subject to a stay in one country is not more than three consecutive months. Another innovation will be the issuance of three- and five-year multiple-entry visas to frequent travelers, registered in the Visa Information System. In the latter case it will be necessary to provide biometric data and at least twice to get a short-term visa to the Schengen countries. As Liborius said the introduction of biometric data collection system for obtaining Schengen visas in Russia may start in the second quarter of 2015. HomesOverseas.ru
