In January-June 2025, 1.035 million Russians visited Thailand, which is 12% more than in the same period last year. Such data is reported by ATOR with reference to the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
Thus, the citizens of the Russian Federation are the leaders in the tourist flow among non-Asian countries and occupy the fourth place in the total tourist flow.
In June, the number of visitors from Russia increased by 18.7% compared to June last year.
Interest in Thailand is also growing among citizens of other post-Soviet countries. Over six months, more than 103,000 Kazakhstanis have rested on the beaches of the kingdom.
