Last year the number of issued construction permits in Serbia has increased by 30% in comparison with 2014, according to news portal Balkanpro with reference to data of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and infrastructure of Serbia.
Such high results were achieved thanks to the law on planning and construction, in accordance with which a new procedure of passage of documents, notes Balkanpro. So, in November 2015 were issued on 45% more permits than the year before. The scope of work they envisage, in the same month increased by 84% in cash. In III quarter this indicator increased by 27% compared to the same period in 2014.
In the first three quarters of last year, workers at construction sites in Serbia became 2.4% more and the share of construction sector in GDP in the second quarter of 2015 reached 5.1%.
