According to the data of the land Cadastre (Kadaster) In the Netherlands, sales of micro-apartments with an area of 20 to 50 square meters are growing in Amsterdam.
In 2022, 1,925 such objects were sold in the capital. The average cost of one small apartment is just over 400,000 euros. The number of transactions for the purchase of compact apartments in other cities of the country is significantly less than in Amsterdam. This is partly due to the attractiveness of the capital for young people who are ready to live in cramped conditions, given that real estate prices have increased significantly.
A distinctive feature of houses with micro-apartments is the availability of facilities for common use, such as laundry, places to work.
