In the 1st quarter of 2022, the number of real estate registrations in Azerbaijan increased by 8.2% compared to the same period last year. This is reported by the Trend publication with reference to the Ministry of Economy of the country.
In the first three months of 2022, 73,346 real estate objects were registered (24.5% initial registration, 75.5% re-registration to a new owner), including 10,837 individual residential buildings, 19,253 apartments, 40,572 land plots, 1,649 non-residential premises, 190 property complexes, 13 multi-storey residential buildings.For the year from March 2021 to March 2022, the number of registrations increased by 6.4%.
The number of mortgage contracts for the 1st quarter of 2022 increased by 48.6% compared to the same period in 2021 and amounted to 15,047.
