Construction of apartment houses in the Czech Republic is increasingly transferred outside Prague and Brno. Interest in such housing is high, since it is possible to buy cheaper than in the cities, the portal reported 420on.cz .
On the Czech real estate market there is a new trend. Residents of big cities are increasingly acquiring an apartment in remote locations. And, if earlier in these villages were built only private houses, but now developers are being built multi-story buildings. Housing prices in the cheaper ones, so the demand is growing.
Thus, according to real estate development company Trigema, it was sold 1350 flats, which is 15% less than in Prague for the period January-March 2017, compared to last year. During this same time, developers sold apartments near Prague 1430: 17% more than the year before.
"We expect that in Prague for the first time since 2009 the number of sold new apartments will decline this year, but in the regions (South Moravian, Central or Pilsen Region), the curve of sales, on the contrary, will continue to grow", - commented Marcel Soural, chairman Trigema representation.
So far, the largest market of real estate outside Prague are Central and South Moravian region. Many residents of these edges go to work in Prague and Brno, but prefer to live outside the city because of more affordable prices. Therefore, in recent months, developers have launched a number of projects of residential buildings and in remote settlements of Prague, where the construction was delayed for several years.

According to him, for the first quarter 2017 in Brno developers sold 220 apartments: 42% less than a year ago. Last year in terms of sales in Brno, as well as in Prague, was a record. But experts believe that this year it will not happen again. New apartment in Brno is currently worth about CZK 61,000 per square meter: 9% more expensive than last year.
almost as many as for the whole year 2016: 260 apartments of this trend stands out Pilsen Region, where, according to Trigema, from January to March have been sold.
"Demand is high both for new buildings and for secondary housing - says Veronica Martinkova, broker real estate agency Pilsen Pubec. - In Plzen at the moment is not enough rental property, so under the city to buy housing, both for investment and for the residence of students and teachers.
