Montenegrin Parliament finished discussion of the project on the financing of local government law. According to calculations of the Finance Ministry of the entry into force of this law will bring revenue to the state budget in the amount of 28 million euros and 17 million - at the level of local authorities. The bill provides for an increase in the property tax from the current 0.08-0.1% to 0.1-1% of the cost of housing. In this case the tax on a second apartment will increase by 100%. There is also a 50-percent increase in the tax on unused fields. The bill provides for a whole series of innovations that should increase the income of local government, as well as the state as a whole. Based on materials from the portal "Montenegro today"
