Service Pass[t] Genau, which allows you to speed up the processing of applications for citizenship, has been launched in Germany. So far, the resource has been launched in two federal states - Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Rhineland-Palatinate.
Pass[t] Genau will help foreigners applying for a German passport to enter data correctly in their applications. According to statistics, it is errors in filling out applications that lead to delays and queues. The problem is compounded by a shortage of staff.
The number of applicants for German citizenship has increased since the new law came into force in June 2024.
You can fill out the feedback form on the Pass[t] Genau website. After that, the project volunteer will contact you and advise you on how to fill out the application.
