Starting from November 1, 2024, Kazakhstan introduced the Neo Nomad digital nomad visa, developed based on the experience of 50 countries in which such a program already exists.
The visa is designed for people working remotely for companies outside Kazakhstan. This category may include specialists engaged in various fields, from programming, marketing and finance to consulting, design and e-commerce.
Requirements for applicants for Neo Nomad:
- stable income of at least $3,000 per month,
- medical insurance,
- certificate of no criminal record.
The visa is issued for one year.
The authorities expect to attract 500 people per year under the new program, which will bring the country $ 7.4 million in revenue annually.
