The ban on the purchase of real estate in Lithuania by Russian citizens will not be complete. The Seimas of the State approved the relevant amendments to the bill.
The deputies voted to allow Russian citizens who have a temporary or permanent residence permit in Lithuania to purchase real estate in the country. This proposal was made by a faction of the Freedom Party, which is part of the ruling coalition.
At the same time, a ban will be introduced for Russians who do not have a Lithuanian residence permit and companies belonging to them.
