Russian Mir bank cards may be available in Thailand in the future. Sulatda Saruttilawan, Executive Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand for the European Region, said that such negotiations are underway with some Thai banks.
The Thai Foreign Ministry also confirmed that the period of visa-free stay for Russians will remain the same - 60 days (with the possibility of extension).
