According to data released last week by the Central Bank, housing prices in Turkey continued to decline in real terms year-on-year in March 2026, despite the fact that nominal prices continued to rise.
The Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) rose by 26.4% year-on-year in nominal terms in March, but adjusted for inflation, it decreased by 3.4%.
In March, the New Tenant Rent Index (NTRI) increased by 34.4% compared to March 2025 in nominal terms and by 2.7% in real terms.
