Currently, there are about 3.23 million apartments in Serbia, in which 80% of the country's population will live. The total volume of apartments has increased by 9.3% since 2002. The highest growth was recorded in Zlatibor (about 41%), as well as Novi Sad (37.6%), Zvezdara (35%), Vrnjachka Banja (31.2%) and Rakovica (30.5%).
Area apartments in Serbia average about 72 sq.m. m in large cities, and in small ones – about 69 sq. m.
