In the central part of the popular resort, in the coastal zone, since February there has been a moratorium on housing construction. However, it did not apply to projects of mini-hotels and family houses of up to 500 square meters. Now, at the insistence of the local residents and deputies, the authorities of Budva have corrected the decision. A complete ban on construction, including small real estate, has been introduced.
The administration of the municipality noted that from the moment the moratorium is adopted, the procedure for issuing construction permits is terminated. The project does not include social infrastructure projects.
