Activity in the housing market of Minsk in March can be described as stable, according to the portal "About real estate . "

On April 5, the register of transactions of the National Cadastre Agency contains data on 1245 contracts for the purchase and sale of apartments in Minsk in March. This is 22% more than in February (1022 contracts), and 2% less than in March of the previous year.

For the period January-March, 3019 apartments were sold in Minsk. This is 3% more than in the same period last year (2929 contracts).

In the Minsk region, demand for apartments fell by 17% compared to last year. In January 2017, 373 contracts were registered (+ 4% against January 2016), in February - 473 (-16% compared to February 2016), in March - 391 contracts (-33% against March 2016). The dynamics of demand for housing in the Minsk region at the beginning of the year is sharply negative.

For January-March of this year, 1237 transactions were registered in the Minsk region, while in 2016 - 1 507. The decrease is 18% for the three months.

In Belarus in March 2017, there were 3253 transactions for the sale of apartments, which is 0.5% less than in February 2017 (3,270). During the first three months of the year, 9232 apartments were bought in Belarus - 7% less than a year earlier. Over the past 10 years, the largest activity in the housing market of Belarus in January-March was observed in 2015 - 11,913 transactions in three months, the smallest - in 2009 - 5419 transactions.

In the regional centers of Belarus in March 2017, the demand for apartments shows a sharply negative dynamics. So, if in February of the current year the reduction in the number of contracts in the Vitebsk region was 0.7%, in March in this area the activity decreased by 34.5% compared to the previous year. The largest outflow of buyers is observed in the Vitebsk region (-39.1%), the lowest - in the Mogilev region (-0.3%).

According to the National Cadastre Agency on April 5, 2017, in January-March, the demand for apartments in Minsk grew by 3% compared to last year, in the Minsk region - decreased by 18%, and in Belarus as a whole - decreased by 7%.
