In February 2025, sales of apartments and houses in Turkey increased by 20.1% compared to the same month last year. The largest number of deals were concluded in Istanbul (19,347), Ankara (10,791) and Izmir (6,899).
In January and February, sales increased by 29.1 year-on-year.
Foreigners bought 21.1% fewer apartments and houses in Turkey in February than in the same month a year earlier. The share of transactions with non-residents was 1.3%.
The cities with the most active sales to foreigners are Istanbul (539), Antalya, including Alanya (503), and Mersin (89).
As usual, Russians made the most purchases (256). This is followed by Iranians (133), Iraqis (99), Azerbaijanis (87), Ukrainians (86), Germans (81), and Kazakhstanis (46).
