Prices for apartments and houses in Latvia are not much, but they have increased. In the 1st quarter of 2024, they rose by 3.7% compared to the same period last year, according to the country's Central Statistical Office (CSO).
New housing has risen in price by 11.1%, and secondary housing by only 1.2%.
In January-March, real estate prices increased by 2.7% compared to the previous quarter. At the same time, new apartments fell in price by 1.9%, and ready-made housing increased in price by 4%.
In 9 years, the value of real estate in Latvia has almost doubled. The price increase compared to the 1st quarter of 2015 amounted to 93.2%.
