The volume of foreign direct investment in Montenegro's real estate in 2024 reached 455 million euros, which is 1.7% less than in 2023.

According to market experts, by the end of the year, home sales remained close to record levels, even despite rising prices and global economic uncertainty.

Citizens of Serbia, Turkey, the USA, Russia and Germany still buy the most apartments and houses in Montenegro. However, the activity of each of these groups has changed. Investment in real estate by Russians decreased by 32%, Germans by 30%, and Serbs by 12%. At the same time, the volume of transactions with Turks increased by 21%, and with Americans by 11%. In addition, there was a surge in Swiss buyer interest in the last month of 2024.
