Kypseli is one of the central neighborhoods of the capital, occupies most of the municipality of Athens, and its population is about 65,000 people. It is subdivided into the following areas:

The urban development of Kypseli began in the 1930s with the construction of family houses and the first modern apartment buildings in Athens, whose design was influenced by international trends such as modernism, Bauhaus and Art Deco.
